Ready For a Little “Life In The Fast Lane”?
Tuesday, August 12th, 2008This Saturday night Elk Creek Vineyards is having the most amazing concert at their outdoor amphitheater! If you’ve never had a chance to check out one of our great outdoor concerts now would be the perfect time to start. The Kentucky Symphony will be playing music from a little band called The Eagles . . . maybe you’ve heard of them? If you haven’t than you’re either still in diapers or you’ve had your head buried in the sand for about 30 years! The Eagles are one of the greatest rock bands that ever lived. They’ve won five Grammy’s and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. This concert is going to be amazing!
The Kentucky Symphony is combining classical music with the hard sound of rock giving us the best of both worlds. Their 50 piece orchestra and a full rock band will perform classic songs from The Eagles in a brilliant combination of passion and power. Delivering the vocals out front are Terry Brock, Randy Jackson and John Hines. “The music itself is one thing, but these singers along with the background singers more than capture the spirit of the original songs,” says creator and conductor Brent Havens.
If you live in the Cincinnati or Louisville area and really want to come, but are hesitant on driving to and from the event, just click on over to our home page and check out all the information on our “Wine Bus”. Kentucky Wine Country Tours has assembled package deals which include round trip transportation to/from Elk Creek plus admission tickets to the concert.
Now that we’ve got all your bases covered, there’s nothing to stop you from getting together with friends and enjoying great wine and great music! So sit back, relax and enjoy the Music of The Eagles!
