This Friday night, July 17th, the outdoor amphitheater is going to be home to an amazing performer! Formerly the voice behind Hootie and the Blowfish, Darius Rucker has gone country – and man is he good!
His first country album, Learn to Live, debut at #1 on the Billboard charts and the New York Times has claimed the album as “one of the year’s most vibrant country albums!” I love his hit single “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It!” I have this CD and believe me I play it constantly! He’s such a good guy you can’t help falling in love with his music!
So bring your family and friends out this Friday night for a great concert, great wine and great southern hospitality at Elk Creek Vineyards!
SATURDAY JULY 18, 2009
Then on Saturday the Elk Creek Hunt Club is sponsoring a shoot to benefit the Mario Robles foundation. Mario was a beloved member of the Elk Creek family and friend not only to those who worked with him, but to those who were fortunate enough to meet him. His smile and personality were contagious! Mario left bethind his three beautiful children and loving wife at the much too young age of 25. This annual shoot is in remembrance of Mario and his dedication to Elk Creek. All the proceeds will be going to the Mario Robles Foundation. To read more about Mario and the shoot go to www.elkcreekhuntclub.com.
