Wow!  Was I right or what when I said that Elk Creek Vineyard’s outdoor concerts are the place to be on Saturday nights!  

This past Saturday ”The Temptations” once again proved that Elk Creek knows how to pick ’em!  They were amazing!  Concert goers were on their feet clapping and singing to every song.  All I can say is, “They’ve still got it”!   Their harmonies were as smooth as their dance moves! 

My girlfriends had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute of it!  The winery, the concert, the weather, the food and of course the wine all came together perfectly.  Add in the southern hospitality of everyone who works there and you have a fun, relaxing evening!  They loved it (especially the Crazy Elk White Wine) and will remember this birthday for a long time to come!  They’re already planning our next trip to Elk Creek to see Ricky Skaggs on October 2!  See you there!

Elk Creek Vineyards has done it again!  Another amazing outdoor concert series awaits you this Saturday, September 12th.  You’ll be able to hear classic Motown at its best with the “Most successful group in black music history!”

THE TEMPTATIONS

Who can resist spending a Saturday night at the rustic Elk Creek Vineyard Winery listening to The Temptations?  With their beautiful vocal harmonies and a little doo-wop and funk added in (not to mention their cool dance moves)  it’s sure to be the concert of the summer.

If you haven’t been to one of their outdoor concert series over the summer, you have to go!  It’s like your own private concert without all the crowds.  The setting is quaint as you find yourself surrounded by lush vineyards and rolling green hills.  There’s not a bad seat surrounding the outdoor Amphitheater.  All you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy!

I’m taking my girlfriends as a birthday gift to them.  They have never been and are really looking forward to it.  I have a feeling it’s going to be a night of great Kenutcky Wine and even better Kentucky toasts!
